Pamela Ebersold Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home & Cremation Services on May 12, 2025.
Pamela Sue Ebersold passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family.
Pam was born on Nov. 28, 1943, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Francis and Elizabeth Pullis. She was the second of three daughters and grew up in a warm and loving home, where the sounds of American Bandstand filled the air-a show she cherished watching with her eldest sister.
Pam graduated from Pontiac Central High and went on to earn her nursing degree from Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. She dedicated her career of over 40 years to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, serving in the post-operative unit.
In 1980, Pam married Theodore Ebersold, who became her devoted partner in life, love, and happiness. Together, they blended their two families and embarked on a journey filled with adventure. They explored many of the country's stunning national parks with their children and later traveled extensively across the globe. Pam had a passion for hiking, kayaking, and experiencing the world's greatest cities, cultural sites and nature preserves, always with Ted by her side.
Pam approached everything in life with unwavering dedication, whether she was caring for her patients, volunteering at church, cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events or tending to her beloved annual garden. As a result of her avid love for reading, she served as the dedicated librarian at Metropolitan United Methodist Church where she shared her love with countless members and visitors.
Pam was a constant source of support for her family, offering wise advice, a comforting shoulder, and unconditional love through life's joys and challenges. She was a caring listener, always ready to connect with a phone call and share the latest family news, keeping everyone connected.
Following her retirement from nursing, Pam generously volunteered much of her free time to her church and for World Medical Relief, packing medical supplies for those in need.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Elizabeth Pullis. She is survived by her beloved husband, Theodore Ebersold; her sisters, Sara Molnar and Ann Miller; her four children: Audrey Critchlow (Tod), Eric Ebersold (Beverley), Stephanie Brosky, and Emily Crawford (Tyler); five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 3-7 p.m. at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 Twelve Mile Rd, Berkley (two blocks West of Woodward Avenue).
A memorial service will take place on Monday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Metropolitan United Methodist Church, 8000 Woodward Ave., Detroit. Reception to follow.
The family appreciates flowers and also invites donations in her memory to World Medical Relief.
