Pamela Muery Goebel, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at her home in Cat Spring, Texas.

Pam was born on August 1, 1950, in Bellville, Texas, to Otto James Muery and Minnerva Rudloff Muery. She grew up in the family home alongside her brother, Ronald Muery. Pam graduated from Bellville High School, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Lee Charles Goebel. Together, they were blessed with three sons: Patrick, Blair, and Jordan.

After many years of dedicated service, Pam recently retired from a fulfilling career as a Librarian Aide at Bellville ISD. She had a love for books, especially a good murder mystery, and enjoyed reading on her front porch with a fresh cup of coffee just as much as she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Pam played an active role in the lives of her children and grandchildren, always supporting them in their activities and cheering them on. She was known for her lively spirit, her “tell-it-like-it-is” attitude, and the strength she brought to those around her. To know Pam was to love her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lee Charles Goebel; her sons Patrick Goebel, Blair Goebel and his wife Tammy, and Jordan Goebel and his wife Krista; her adored grandchildren Avery, Harper, Levi, and Lorelei; Sister-in-law Vonnie Grawunder and her husband Tom; and Sister-in-law Vickie Monk and husband Frank. She is also remembered fondly by many, many family members and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnerva Muery, and sister Brenda Lee Muery and brother Ronald James Muery.

She will be deeply missed, especially for the love, strength, and humor she brought to her family, particularly as the strong woman who raised a house full of boys.

Pallbearers: Nathan Grawunder, Seth Grawunder, Colby Grawunder, Tye Holloway, Dustin Supak & Gary Keeton.

Honorary Pallbearers: Tom Grawunder, Frank Monk, Paul Donley, Layne Grawunder, Hudson Grawunder, Luke Grawunder, Cary Burnley, Bradley Schwarze, William Krueger, Wayne Thompson, and Jerry Rudloff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Retreat Center or the Bellville Public Library in memory of Pamela Goebel.
