Pamela "Pam" Hunter, of Springfield, MO, passed away on August 02, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on June 05, 1948, to Joe and Helen (Schmidt) Vance in Springfield, MO.

Pam graduated from Parkview High School in Springfield, with the class of 1966. She was blessed with three children, Samantha, Sabrina, and Michael. Pam worked for General Electric in Springfield as a lathe operator and was one of the first employees hired by GE when it opened in Springfield. On February 14, 2012, she married David Hunter, and they shared many amazing years together. Pam enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, sewing, and, as David says.. wasting time on the computer. Pam was known to be late for everything. Pam and David enjoyed traveling, taking train rides, and walking the streets of Eureka Springs. She also enjoyed bargain shopping and always seemed to have a coupon for everything. Pam could set off with a dollar and come back with a carload of things and never spend more than that dollar. She loved riding in convertibles and sports cars, but Pam's biggest joy was traveling with her grandbabies. Just taking off for a day in Branson, or an unplanned trip to St. Louis. Her love for her grandbabies, and babies in general, was endless.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael, and her stepson Jerry.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, David, her children Samantha Inman (Mike Argo), Sabrina (Anthony) Daigh stepchildren Todd (Erin) Hunter, Michelle (Terri) Hunter and Kevin (Val) Hunter, sister Regina (Donnie) Woods as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

A Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 07, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. at Meadors Funeral Home in Billings. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Pam will be laid to rest in St. Peter's Evangelical Cemetery in Billings, near her beloved aunt Mary, uncle Jack and mother Helen.
