Pamela (Pam) Ann McMillen-Hogan, 71, of Independence, Missouri passed away on May 19, 2025. Pam was born in Independence, Missouri on June 28, 1953. She was raised in Buckner, Missouri, and graduated from Fort Osage High School.
Pam was terrible at telling jokes but phenomenal at gin rummy! She always cheated at solitaire and always needed 10 more minutes to be on time. She was an expert at gift wrapping and burning toast (you only had to scrape off the burnt crumbs if it wasn't to your taste). She also sewed the best Halloween costumes and could draw just about anything!
She was preceded in death by her brother Alan McMillen, father CJ McMillen, mother Leona McMillen, and grandcat Geordi Hogan.
Survivors include her three daughters Jamie Dickerson (Dan), Anna Clay (Chris), and Laura Hogan. Grandchildren Connor Clay and Danielle Dickerson. Grandcats Luna Hogan, Teddy Hogan, and Freddy Hogan. Granddogs Bubba Clay, Prince Dickerson, Lovie Dickerson, and Rocky Dickerson. Sisters Susan Madsen (Mark) and Marly McMillen-Beelman (Shawn) and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2-4pm, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society at 802 NW Vesper St., Blue Springs, MO 64015. After the service, a dinner will be held at the home of Jamie Dickerson at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Pam can be made to Steps of Faith. They are a local charity that provides prosthetics to people in need.
