Pamela Gayle "Pam" Popp, 77, of Hutchinson, died May 21, 2025, at Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. She was born March 21, 1948, in Hutchinson, to Ralph and Eula Belle (Alumbaugh) Williams.
Pam graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1966. She worked as an optical technician at Singleton-Joyce Optical for many years and then at Southwind Eyecare for over 20 years until she retired. Pam was an avid reader, enjoyed flower gardening, and making breads and candies for the holidays.
On November 12, 1976, she married Danny E. Popp, in Hutchinson. He survives.
Also surviving are: her daughters, Sharon Swarts (Casey) and Tonya Wolfe; grandchildren, Elizabeth Swarts and Justin Swarts, all of Hutchinson; sister, Cara Jean Williams of Carolina Shores, NC; niece, Cindy Summers of Loveland, CO; nephew, Robert Simpson, of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Darlene Miller and Shirley Wise.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave., Hutchinson.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
