Pamela Tia Potter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away May 20th 2022 at the age of 64. Pam was born and raised in Montclair NJ. She graduated from The Montclair Kimberley Academy and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University.
As a child, Pam spent many summers creating vivid and lifelong memories at Brown Ledge Camp, on the banks of Lake Champlain, in VT. She loved to reminisce of her days there where she excelled at horseback riding and took a fondness to water sports such as water skiing and sailing.
Pam's love of horses never dwindled and became her passion and career. Training horses and riders to many wins and achievements over the years. Her fearlessness allowed her to bring along the most difficult horses and create a reputation for herself within the industry. She spanned multiple disciplines, was a fantastic braider for top competitors at top competitions, and is still known for her horsemanship that she displayed and instilled in her students.
She is survived by two daughters, Krysia Alt of Lebanon, NJ and her husband Justin Alt, and Cassandra Zappata of Livingston, NJ. Additionally, her nephew Michael Testa and niece Katy Testa as well as her long standing partner Tyler Hall.
Service for her memorial will be held June 4th, 2022 at Gallaway & Crane at 10am to 12pm.
