Robert J. Unoski, 60, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, after a long and valiant battle against pancreatic cancer.
Born in East Orange, N.J., Robert grew up in West Caldwell and attended Montclair Kimberly Academy, Northeastern University and the Tri-state College of Acupuncture. He was co-founder and owner of Moniteur Devices in Cedar Grove for over 30 years, where he dedicated himself to his work and its success. Bob was a passionate life-long learner and from his youth through his last days he was avidly researching and sharing his insightful perspectives on an unending range of topics including health, politics, scientific breakthroughs, world history, Biblical truth and prophecy and more.
Throughout the years, Robert was devoted to both his family and his Christian walk and attended Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church, Emergence Church in Totowa and Revive Church in Morristown. Robert was deeply rooted in his faith and relished participating in many Bible studies and in depth discussion groups. His faith in His Lord Jesus Christ was paramount during his life and until the end Bob was spreading the gospel to family, friends and everyone he would meet.
Robert was predeceased by his father, John Unoski and his brother-in-law, Tom Geslak. He is survived by his beloved mother, Barbara (nee Duda) Unoski; siblings, John A. Unoski and his wife, Jan, Donna A. Geslak, Ryan Unoski, Nicole Fenzlein and her husband, Harry. He will also be greatly missed by nieces: Stefanie, Katherine, Valerie, and Karoline Geslak; niece Emma Rose Peck and her husband Tristan; his grandniece, Gretchen Rose Peck; and many close cousins and cherished friends.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, N.J. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Emergence Church, 930 Riverview Dr., Totowa, N.J. On Saturday morning, kindly meet directly at the church. Interment with committal prayers will take place at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA on Monday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. Memories and condolences may be shared at gaitamh.com.
