Pamela Louise Hilling Sypolt, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 6th, 2025, at Mon Health Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born on May 30th, 1947, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Howard and Virginia Lowe Hilling.
She leaves to cherish her memory her nephew Charlie Phillips of Morgantown; her niece Rachel Jenkins and husband Chester of Washington, PA; her great-niece Rachel Marie; her great-nephew's Terran Lee; Robert James; and her ever faithful canine companion, Mickey.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry; and her sister and brother-in--law Penny Lee and Bernard Phillips.
Pam's life was one of giving to her community and her family. She was charitable, selfless and giving of herself by donating her time and money to various animal charities, as well as Christian Help where she was one of the founders of their Career Closet, and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
She was an amazing friend to animals and was passionate about their well-being. Pam loved walking Mickey through the neighborhood where they would visit with the two and four legged friends.
Also, she loved flower gardening, and reading her Bible, as she was a devout Christian.
She also enjoyed sitting on the edge of her chair watching in high anticipation what would happen next on Ice Road Truckers.
Family and friends may join to honor her life and legacy at Smith Funeral and Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover (304-292-9494 on Wednesday, May 14th from 11:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Jeremiah Bostic. Interment will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in her memory to Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia, 252 Brewer Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508 or online at www.animalfriendswv.org.

Pam was such a a good neighbor to us. We moved in July 2023 but kept in touch frequently with calls and cards. She was a very devoted Christian and was always willing to pray for us. She will be missed greatly but heaven has gained another angel for sure.
