Blanche L. "Peggy" Sypolt,
85, of Bruceton Mills, WV (Centenary Community) passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood, WV, with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Warren "Cy" and Mary Ethel Sell Reckart, she was born September 4, 1938.
She enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she loved her word search and coloring books.
Peggy is survived by two sons, Melvin "Bus" Sypolt and Myron "Monk" Sypolt and his wife, Crystal; two daughters, Mary "Sis" Sypolt and Kim Dixon and her husband, Ike; five grandsons: Willy Corley, Chris Sypolt, Jeremy Dixon, Zachary Dixon and David Bolyard; eight great-grandchildren: Waylon Sypolt, Scarlett Corley, Kaiden Bolyard, Jayce Bolyard, Paige Dixon, Dax Dixon, Wyatt Dixon and Matilda Bolyard; two sisters, Nancy Reckart and Brenda Turner; and one brother and his wife, Andrew Reckart and Mary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Sypolt; a grandson, Justin Bolyard; a great-granddaughter, Reese Noelle Dixon; and two sisters, Carol Waugerman and Polly Broughman.
The family would like to extend a huge heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Kingwood Healthcare Center, WV Caring, and to Dr. Michael Schwarzenberg.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 17, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral chapel, with Dwayne Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at the Parnell Cemetery in Bruceton Mills (Cuzzart).
