Passed away peacefully on, August 8, 2023 at the age of 93.
Predeceased by his first wife, Yolanda A. Cioppa; son, Stephen; parents, Antonio and Josephine Cioppa; brothers, Frank (Betty) and Joseph Cioppa.
He is survived by his wife, Frances DiLaura-Cioppa; children, Patrick (Patti), Ann (Michael) Streiff and Karen (Gary) Gell; Maureen Cioppa, former spouse of son Stephen Cioppa, grandchildren, Aaron (Grace), Michelle (Todd), Rachel, Gary (Stacie), Patrick (Sammantha), Brianna (Domenic), Justin (Danielle), Matthew (Amanda), Brooke; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Cioppa; many nieces and nephews.
Frances' children, Cynthia (Rick) Paladino, Patrick (Roxanne) DiLaura; Frances' grandchildren, Lindsey, Ryan (Katherine), Elyse and Jenna.
He was a wonderful father, who was one of a kind.
We were so blessed to have our Father for 93 years, Our Dad was a wonderful, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a gentle soul. Growing up everybody called him Mr. C.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 17th 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 7PM.
