Pat J. Monaco, born on July 30, 1924, passed away in Elmhurst, Illinois on September 26, 2025 at the age of 101 after a healthy and happy life well lived. Pat was a devoted husband for over 77 years to his beloved wife, Louise, who proceeded him in death earlier this year. Cherished son of Florence Monaco, the last living and loving brother to Vito Monaco, Anne Noci, Emil Monaco, Joseph Monaco, Anthony Monaco, Frank Monaco, and Rose Donatiello, and dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews. Pat is survived by his son Don (Patricia) Monaco and daughter Marilyn (Bob) Kania, his grandchildren Kerry (Vlad), Scott (Christy), Vicki (Nick) and Tracy (James), and his great grandchildren Briana, Tyler, Sydney, Rylan, Brynn, Paige, Asher, and Julian. Pat proudly served in the United State Army and Air Force during World War II. His favorite past time was ballroom dancing with Louise and socializing with family and friends. He was a man of faith and touched the lives of so many people with his kindness and generosity. Pat will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
