Patricia Gail Birts, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on August 6, 1947, in
Lithonia, Georgia, Patricia brought love, grace, and warmth wherever she went. She resided in
Flowery Branch, Georgia, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
Patricia was a woman of incredible generosity, always putting others before herself. Her caring nature touched the lives of many, and she was renowned for her unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand. A true southern lady, Patricia possessed a genuine hospitality that made everyone feel welcome in her presence. Whether it was hosting family gatherings or special occasions, she always made sure her loved ones felt cherished and at ease.
In addition to her nurturing spirit, Patricia had a talent for culinary delights. Her banana pudding and beef pot roast were legendary among family and friends. Gathering around the table and enjoying her mouth-watering creations was a cherished tradition, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all.
Patricia had a thirst for knowledge that was reflected in her passion for reading books. She could often be found engrossed in the pages of a compelling novel, losing herself in captivating stories and new worlds. Alongside her love for literature, Patricia enjoyed watching the television show Law & Order. The thrilling courtroom drama held her attention, showcasing her fascination with legal proceedings and the pursuit of justice.
Patricia dedicated many years of her life to her occupation in bookkeeping, specifically within the real estate industry. Her attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills served her well during her time at Mortgage First. She was highly respected by her colleagues and will always be remembered for her professionalism and dedication.
Patricia is now reunited with her spouse, Jerry Birts and also her parents, Frank and Josephine Davis. Left to honor Patricia's memory and carry her legacy forward is her loving son, Christopher Birts, and daughter-in-law, Jodi Birts, and her cherished grandchildren, Amanda and Jeffery Blithe, Christopher Elmore, and Angela Birts, they will always hold a special place in their hearts for their beloved matriarch. Additionally, her great-grandchildren, Jaden Blithe and Jacob Blithe, brought immense joy to Patricia's life, leaving her with precious memories and an eternal bond.
Patricia Gail Birts will be deeply missed, but her loving presence and the impact she made on the lives of others will be eternally cherished. May her soul find peace and may her memory continue to inspire acts of kindness and selflessness in all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
