Patricia Cropsey Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Pat was born on Aug 29, 1934, in Green Bay. Her parents Almond & Lucille Neville raised her in a full house of 8 children, she is survived by Doug Janssen, Bruce Neville, Kathy George, Gloria Vandermoss. And predeceased by Mary Jane Buelle, Violette LeMieux, and Almond 'Doty'Neville.
She graduated from West high school in 1952. She met the love of her life, Floyd "Jim" Cropsey at Safeway Cheese. She would blot her lipstick and send it down the line to Jim. They went on their first date in January of 1961, and we're married on July 15, 1961, at St Patrick's church in Green Bay. Her loving husband, Jim preceded her in death on June 6, 2017, just one month before their 56th wedding anniversary. And finally, they are together again.
They loved their 4 children, Holly (Mike/Bucky) Goza; Mark (Karen) Cropsey, Mike Cropsey (deceased) and Heather (Tom) Goodletson. She was also very close to her extra son, Al Khan. They had 10 grandchildren who she adored along with their partners, Mitch Goza (Derek), Zach Cropsey (Bua), Kelsey (Dave) Lanzhammer, Kyla Goodletson (Reed), Emily Cropsey (Steve), Luke (Cassi) Goodletson, Ryan Goodletson (Gabi), Tessa Goodletson (Ben), Alex Cropsey and Abi Ogbonna, 7 great grandchildren including her newest love, 2-year-old, Harrison Floyd Lanzhammer.
Pat was known for baking, cooking and sewing. Until recently, she made cookies weekly for her children. Her pies were all homemade and the best ever, her daughters and some of her grandchildren helped her bake pies the day before Thanksgiving, for many years, an event known as the Pie Factory. All are grateful for this loving time spent with grandma and hopeful they've retained a portion of the tips she shared.
Her sewing skills were amazing, making flower girl dresses for both of her daughter's weddings by measuring the adult dresses and creating her own pattern. The only difference in the dresses was the quality of hers was better. She made covers for furniture, clothes, pajamas for her children and grandchildren and altered and repaired clothing too. Her first job was as a "buster girl" where she repaired mishaps in new clothing to still be sold as new.
She worked for her sons at Color Master Printing from the age of 54 until her retirement at age 72 as their bookkeeper, secretary and production helper, where she made many friends.
Pat and Jim loved to explore our country thru their many road trips, by themselves and with friends or family. They spent many days driving the state of WI and beyond and shared all of their fun adventures thru photos that Jim took. If ever you said you were traveling, Pat loved to share their stories and add stops to your trip.
Pat had the warmest heart but also enjoyed a good laugh, and on occasion a cold tap beer she referred to as a wedding beer. She knew so much trivia and was a jeopardy champion in her own right. She loved spending time with her people and because of her wit, we enjoyed it even more.

Family and friends may gather at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Entombment will be at the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
