Patricia T. Dunbar, 86, of Spencer, affectionately known to all as Pat, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by family. Her kindness and love for her family will be missed but never forgotten. She will forever live in our hearts.
A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held by family from 11 AM until 4 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Uptown Plaza at 901 N Pacific Street, Spencer. Uptown Plaza is located directly north of Northcentral Technical College in Spencer.
She was born in Milwaukee to Leo and Mary (Totsky) Hardy on January 3, 1939. She was a graduate of Auburndale High School. On April 20, 1963, Patricia was united in marriage to Frank Dunbar in Phillips, Wisconsin. Together, they raised two sons, John and Peter.
Along with being a dedicated wife and mother, she was employed over the years at various places including Weinbrenner Shoe Factory, Rollohome Homes, Dunbar Service and most recently, Walmart. Patricia enjoyed fun evenings going to the races, quiet days crocheting Afghans, home decorating or just spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Those who will forever keep her memory alive include her loving husband, Frank Dunbar of Spencer; her sons, John (Mary) Dunbar of Spencer and Peter Dunbar of Merrill; her grandsons, Marc (Danielle) Dunbar of Loyal, Aaron (Cheyanne) Dunbar of Mosinee, Zach Dunbar of Stevens Point and Brad Dunbar of Spencer; her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Regan, Aurora and Memphis; and her sisters, Janie Raab of Nekoosa and Sharon Gross of Menominee Falls along with many other family, friends and neighbors.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mary Hardy; a sister, Delores Hamann and her brothers, Bill Hardy and Leo Hardy, Jr.
