Patricia Jandrew

MASSENA – Patricia L. Jandrew, 67 of Willow Street, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Patty was born on April 7, 1957 in Massena the daughter of the late Elmer and Geraldine (Fregoe) Munson. She first attended Holy Family School before graduating from Massena Central School in 1975. On October 4, 1980, she married James J. Jandrew at the Church of the Sacred Heart with Rev. Alfred Fish, officiating.
Patty was a dedicated stay at home wife and mother for many years. She later worked for her sister, Nancy, as a waitress at Common Grounds Coffee Shop. Additionally, she dedicated 10 years to her community as an EMT with Massena Rescue Squad. She loved gardening, cooking and baking, shopping, riding her motorcycle, camping, and being outdoors. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends.
Patty is survived by her husband, Jim; her children and their spouses, Keith and Amy Jandrew, Allison and Matthew Morris, and Austin and Sarah Jandrew, all of Massena; her grandchildren, Alexis, Kamryn, Ryan, Mikayla, Aria, Austin Jr., and Brielle; and her great grandchildren, Athena and Apollo.
She is also survived by her sisters, Judy (Lynn) Stanton of Norfolk, Dale (Peter) Bodway of Norfolk, Nancy (Dale) Tucker of Massena, Diane Arcet of Massena, Mary Jessmer of Norfolk, Laurie (Michael) Douglas of Virginia, and Christy (Cal) McNamara of Bombay; her brothers, Jess (Nancy) Munson of Massena and Jeff (Val) Munson of Massena; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Wilson-Jandrew in 2006 and her siblings, Linda, John, and Holly Munson.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena where friends may call on Friday, 3-5:00 PM with a Catholic prayer service being held at 5:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Massena Rescue Squad.
