Patricia was born October 22, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan to parents Henry and Betty (Meadows) Potoczak.
She graduated from Birmingham Groves High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts at Western Michigan University. After school, she continued her education by earning an engineering degree while maintaining a successful career with Ford Motor Company. Patricia enjoyed working as a product manager for Ford for many years before her retirement in 2007.
On June 11, 1976, Patricia married her loving husband, Kenneth Klimek, at Christ Church Cranbrook in West Bloomfield. Ken and Patricia enjoyed 49 loving years together as husband and wife.
Patricia was a woman of many interests. She loved joining a group of friends for Pilates regularly and showing a creative spirit in her crafts. She also loved getting outside with gardening and flowers and enjoyed traveling all around the world. She took many cruises to see what the world had to offer. Patricia also enjoyed relaxing with a book as an avid reader.
There are many that will mourn Patricia's passing and remember her fondly, including her cherished husband, Kenneth Klimek, her sister, Victoria Potoczak, MD, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews from the Klimek family, and many loving cousins from the Potoczak family.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Betty (Meadows) and Henry Potoczak, her mother-in-law, Jean Klimek, and her Father-in-law, Clement Klimek.
A Visitation will be held for Patricia on Wednesday, June 25th from 3-7pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Rd., Clawson, MI 48017. A Funeral Service will be the following day, Thursday, June 26th, at 11am at Christ Church Cranbrook, 470 Church Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. Friends may begin visiting at 10:30. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery will follow the service.
