Patricia Marie "Patty" Kostecki

Patty Marie Kostecki (née Papciak), 62, of Lake Orion, Michigan, passed away on June 30, 2025.
Born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Patty was full of life and known for her lively spirit, infectious laugh, and the joy she brought to every room. She lived life to the fullest-whether she was boating on Lake Orion, skiing in the winter, golfing with friends, running races, or spending time with her family. She had a bold, adventurous streak and was always up for a good time.
Patty built a dynamic career beginning at EDS within the GM Tech Center, then at Magna Interior Systems, and later became a proud part of the McDonald's Family Business. Along the way, she made lasting friendships and a positive impact in every role she took on.
Deeply committed to her community, Patty was a member of the Lake Orion Rotary Club and an active parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; her children, Jordan and Robert; her mother, Patricia Papciak; and her siblings, Ed and MaryAnn. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Papciak, and her sister, Robin.
Patty will be remembered for her warmth, energy, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to live on in all those who had the gift of knowing her.
