Patricia M. Loth, aged 88, passed away on November 13, 2024, at Winona Health Hospital in Winona, MN after a brief illness. Born on June 7, 1936, Pat graduated from Cotter High School in Winona and spent much of her career at Watlow Electronic Manufacturing, where she worked for 37 years before retiring.
Pat was a loving wife to her husband, Robert Loth, whom she married on February 16, 1957. They first met while she worked at the Sloit Glove Factory. Their life together included time spent at bases during Bob’s military service, and eventually, setting their family roots back in Winona, where they raised their sons Keith, Steve, and Rick. Pat worked at Ruth's Restaurant while her children were young prior to her many dedicated years at Watlow. After her retirement, Pat volunteered at Winona Health where she enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Keith (Gwen Bauer), Steve (Ann), and Rick (Lynette); grandchildren, Sara (Seth) Flatten, Emily (Steve) Schmiedeberg, Andrew (Alyssa) Loth, Marshall Loth, and Zoey Loth; and great-grandchildren, Charlie and Hayes. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Barnholtz; and siblings, Gerry Barnholtz, Judie Oevering, Richard Barnholtz, and Kathy Pickert, and daughter-in-law, Dawn Loth.
Pat was known for her warm hospitality, frequently hosting family gatherings and opening her home to friends. She and Bob enjoyed traveling together along with their many friends. Pat was an enthusiastic card player and belonged to several card groups. She enjoyed the water aerobics program at the Winona YMCA, where she cherished the time spent exercising and socializing with friends. Her family was paramount in her life, evident in the joy she found with each family gathering and visit. A memorial service will be held at Hoff Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2024 with visitation at 10:00 and the service at 11:00 am. The family wishes to thank the Winona Health Hospital staff for their care of Pat.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Winona Health Volunteer Program or a charity of the donor’s choice.
