It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Rose McClung, 58, of Early,TX who left us on November 15th, 2024. A devoted mother, grandmother, and compassionate nurse, Patricia will be remembered for her loving heart, dedication to others, and strength of character, and witty humor.
Born on March 17th 1966, Patricia was a lifelong resident of Early, TX. For 15 years, she served as a night shift nurse at Brownwood Regional Medical Center, where her gentle care and tireless work ethic made a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues. Her compassion knew no bounds, and her commitment to helping others was unwavering, especially during the quiet hours of the night when she worked to bring comfort to those in need.
Patricia was the proud mother of Courtny Long, and the cherished grandmother of Kai and Colt Long. She adored her grandchildren, and they were the light of her life. She was always there to offer love, encouragement, and a listening ear, whether she was celebrating their accomplishments or comforting them in times of need.
She is survived by her daughter, Courtny Long, and her grandchildren, Kai and Colt Long and brother Thomas McNamee. She was preceded in death by William Sartain, Joel Sartian, Beverly McNamee, and Cheryl Glos.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday November 25th at 10 am at Eastlawn Memorial, where friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Patricia's life.
Patricia will be deeply missed, but her love, humor and memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
