Patricia was born, March 8, 1950 to the late Elmore W. Dickerson, Sr. and Dora A. Beverly in the Bronx, NY. She was married for 43 years to the late Reverend Leon M. McCrimmon. She departed this earth on September 13, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital always diligently professing and proclaiming her trust and faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Patricia was educated in the New York school system: St. Augustine Catholic Elementary School (Bronx, NY) and Holy Providence Catholic Boarding School (Bristol Pike, PA). She returned to New York to receive her CPA degree from Baruch College (Bronx, NY).
Patricia built her professional career as an accountant in various positions throughout New York, Maryland, Illinois and Connecticut. Prior to retirement, she was employed for 25 years at St. Vincent's Medical Center (Bridgeport, CT) and was well liked and respected. She took great pride in her position as Supervisor of Accounts Receivable.
Patricia was an active member and deacon at Messiah Baptist Church (Bridgeport, CT).
Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memory, her daughter: Keisha McCrimmon of CT, sons: Leon Fowler of NY and Taj McNair (Nakia) of DE; godsons: Michael of NY and Jermaine of NC; siblings Bernice (Leroy) of N.C.; Dwight (Loretta) of CT and Raymond of FL; her Aunt Mary of NY and a large host of relatives and friends.
Patricia was a beloved cornerstone, counselor, confidante and friend to her family and loved ones. In her final days, she made sure to attest and affirm out loud "I love all my family!"
