Dear Jim and family,
Phil and I just ran into someone in Indiana who told us about Patti's passing. We first knew Patti when we lived together at The Place apartment complex and Matthew was a newborn. Over the years, Patti was faithful in keeping us up to date as your family expanded, moves to and from New York, etc. She will be very much missed by us and we extend our deepest sympathies to you and all of your family.
God Bless,
Phil and Angela Martini

Dear Stephanie and Family,
Teresa and I wanted to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom/Teresa's grandma passed away 2 years ago from ovarian cancer after 8 years. As I'm sure Patti did, my mom showed me more than I thought possible how to love others in spite of my own struggles...so many miracles and joy in spite of the sadness.
Peace to you now and always.

Dear Matt and family,
Today a client of mine, and a friend of your moms told me of her passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I cant even imagine what your family has gone through these last few years. Many years ago when I first met your mom, I realized how she treated everyone like they were one of her own kids. I remember when I locked my keys in my car at your house. I was very worried because I didn't have another set. When your mom found out what had happened she told me not to worry and took care of everything. Just like my mom would do for me. How lucky your family is to have had such an amazing mother although her time was short. Many people like me, have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Your friend,
Autumn

Patti,
I miss you so much I can not even describe it. You are such an inspiration to me and your strength, courage and love will live on forever in my heart. You have made such a huge impact on my life and I will never forget anything you've ever taught me. I appreciate everything you've ever done for me and thank you for always being there for me when I needed you most, as a mother and as a friend. You are a beautiful soul with the biggest most amazing heart. I've never met anyone so caring and special. I thank God for all the memories and time I spent with you, but I just wish there were more. I think about you all the time and pray for you everyday. I miss you more than anything and I love you so much and I always will.
Love Forever and ever,
Jackie

Sleep sweetly my dear friend. We shared so many wonderful, hilarious times. What will I remember most? So many things! Your wonderful optimism & your beautiful heart. Your innate compassion. Your gentle yet joyful spirit, your absolute genuineness and loyalty. Your awesome sense of humor! Speaking of which, don't forget you owe me an e-mail! No excuses! And send me your new address up there in Heaven or else no Xmas cd! And try to save me a spot up there next to you, preferably with a "view"!
Love you Patti!

Dear Stephanie, Kaylie, Olivia, and all the Midtling family,
There was no one like your Mom and you have been blessed to have her. I just wish she could be here on earth much longer but I know she is your guardian angel now. Patti was such a warm and caring person - she kept giving me Walgreens coupons when money was tight and we had so many amazing and insightful conversations. She really helped me with my son's learning disabilities with her support and encouragement. I miss all of you at piano and hope to see you soon. May God wrap loving arms around all of you.

Dr. Jim and family: We are sorry upon hearing of the loss of your dear wife and mother. God gave you a loving wife and mother, loved by you, and by all, and especially by God and Christ, who is our living Hope through His resurrection from the dead. Our prayers are with you and for you all. May God give you peace in the sure and certain truth that those who have died in the Lord are secure and whole for all eternity. We all await the coming our our Lord when our lowly bodies will be transformed like unto Christ's glorious body, and will be in that abode when there will be no hunger, no thirst, no suffering, no sorrow, no sickness, and no death.
God bless you with His comforting Spirit.
With our love, Uncle Harold and Aunt June Hein

Whenever I think of Patti, I always remember her watching over us as we swam in the Midtling's pool all those summers ago. She cared so much for her kids and their friends that she'd never let us out of her sight-no matter what kind of trouble Jenni, Mo and I were getting into. That much will never change. She'll always be watching. All my love to the Midtling Family.

To the Midtling's-
Our heartfelt sympathies to all of you on the passing of Patti. Our girls were in gymnastics at Gleasons and Jim you also coached Molly in track. I remember when Patti had been recently diagnosed. We were all in Chicago for a meet. I think about 4 years ago. She had just had surgery. I remember thinking how strong she was and my lasting memory of what a great mom she was.
May you find comfort knowing that Patti is now free of all her suffering and you are all better people as a result of her in your lives.

Our deepest heartfelt sympathies to you and your family on the passing of Patti. We will miss her very much at the dance competitions. She was a very special lady. I loved sitting and talking with her. My fondest memory is sitting on the rocks by the pool in Orlando talking until 12:30 a.m. while you kids stayed in the pool forever!
