Patricia "Pat" Stewart 80, of Ashland, Kentucky, strengthened by the grace of God and fortified by the Sacraments of the Church, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.

Born Mary Patricia McClintock on February 18, 1945, in Fort Myers, Florida, she was the eldest child of the late Thomas and Catherine Gute McClintock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Ashley McClintock Bridges.

Pat was a graduate of Holy Family Catholic School and attended Ashland Community College before earning her degree in education from the University of Kentucky. A lifelong member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Pat devoted her time and talents to both her faith and her community. Before beginning her family, she taught at Hager Elementary and Holy Family Catholic School, and she later served on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, Boyd County Chapter.

Pat's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved hosting family gatherings and walking around the park with her friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, John C. Stewart, Jr. of Ashland; her son, John C. "Jay" Stewart III and wife Kelly of Naperville, Illinois; two daughters, Heather Wolfe of Ashland, and Katherine "Katie" Griffith and husband Geoff of Ashland; her brother, William Thomas "Bill" McClintock and wife Theresa of Ashland; and her sister, Anne Sloan and husband David of Ashland.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Landon, Tyson, and Roman Griffith; Avery and Nolan Stewart; and Mason and Addison Wolfe. Additional family members include a brother-in-law, Don Stewart; nieces Krista Payne and Hannah Sloan; nephew Robbie McClintock; and many close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Father Livinus Uba, presiding. Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Pat's memory to Holy Family Catholic School, 932 Winchester Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 3703 Taylorsville Road Unit 102, Louisville, KY 40220.
