Ronald Eugene "Ronnie" Sexton

Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Sexton, 81, of Ashland, Kentucky, widower of Carol Carter Sexton, passed away Thursday morning, November 6, 2025, at Community Hospice Care Center following an extended illness. Ronnie was born Wednesday, April 5, 1944, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late Clyde and Jennie Savage Seton. He was a drywall laborer by trade, and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 2329, where he loved to sing karaoke and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents and wife, Carol, of 60 years, Ronnie was also preceded in death by a son, Glenn Huff; a daughter, Robyn Sexton; and a brother, Roger Sexton. Left to cherish his memory, include a son, Kendal (Andrea) Huff of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Teresa Huff of Kentucky; a brother, Jerald Sexton; grandchildren Timothy Huff, Jessica Huff, Sarah Hufff, Matthew Huff, Thomas Huff, Nicole Shirtsinger, and Michael Huff; and a host of great-grandchildren. A graveside service for Ronnie will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, West Virginia with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating. Visitation will be at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland, Kentucky, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mfhfuneralhome.com.
