Dana Marie Strother

Dana Marie Strother, 54, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Sunday evening, October 5, 2025 with her loving family by her side at Community Hospice Care Center. She was born Sunday, June 6, 1971, in Ashland, a daughter of the late James Edward and Audrey Hill Strother. Dana attended Hilltop Christian Baptist Church in Westwood, Kentucky, was a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School, received her degree from the College of Arts and Media at Marshall University in Graphic Arts, and enjoyed expressing her artistic skills in many ways, including drawing, painting, creating hand crafts, and crocheting Afghan blankets. Left to cherish Dana's memory includes a brother, James B. Strother of Ray, Ohio; sister, Susan (Yancy) Ramey of Ashland, Kentucky; niece Lauren (Duncan) Burnside; nephew Daniel (Jenna) Ramey; seven great-nieces and nephews; and her devoted partner for many years, Curtis Stewart. A private family viewing and funeral service will be held in accordance with her wishes. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Funeral Home in Ashland, Kentucky.
