Patricia was employed by Corning Inc., where she proudly worked for 34 years before retiring in 2012.
She was known for her love of Bud Light, George Strait, NASCAR. Patricia was a classic car enthusiast, especially her beloved 72 Dodge Duster. Her dream car was a baby blue 57 Chevy Bel Air. Patricia had a big heart and an even bigger personality. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and was fiercely devoted to her family and friends.
Blunt, sarcastic, and always honest, Patricia wasnt afraid to speak her mind. She was the strongest person her family knew, the glue that held everyone together. If you messed with someone she loved, you might find yourself on the business end of a frying pan. And if you didnt mow your lawn? She probably had an opinion about that too.
Patricia is survived by her three children: Candy (Raymond) Squire, Stacy Leonard, and Doug (Caprice Geyer) Taft; grandchildren: Warren Squire, Aaron Squire, Cameron Ball, Arista Squire, Skyann Taft, Gabrielle Ball, Jakob Leonard, and Kinsley Taft; great-grandchildren: Gannon Squire, Casen Squire, and Tanner Squire. She is also survived by her siblings: Carol Pratt, Barbara (James) Divens, Linda (Bob) Barrett, Freda Divens, Kathy Leonard, Cynthia Leonard, and Lisa Leonard; brothers: Raymond (Sally) Leonard, Robert (Penny) Leonard, and John (Jane) Leonard; sister-in-law: Penny Leonard; and brother-in-law: Herbert Greene.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her siblings James Leonard and Theresa Greene.
Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenters Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney Street, Corning, NY, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
