Gail Delores Button

Gail D. Elliott Button, age 81 of Presho, NY died on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Corning Hospital. She was born on April 12, 1944 at Soldiers and Sailors in Wellsboro, PA to the late Delbert Elliott and Arlene (Ball Elliott) Burdick.
Gail married the late Lyle J. Button on December 28, 1979. She retired from Dresser-Rand with 24 years of service. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her grandchildren, genealogy and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Verle 'Bunny' Sly (Donald Youngs) of Lindley, NY; granddaughter, Tina (Kenneth) Fuller of Boiling Springs, SC; two grandsons: Donald Youngs (Jonni Noga), Lindley, NY, Lyle Youngs (Aliza Rose) of Caton, NY; great grandson, Seth Fuller (Carson Johnston); and great granddaughter, Tori Fuller (Quan Davis) both of Boiling Springs, SC; great grandsons: Cobi and Jaxon; great granddaughters: Averi and Paisli; and great-great granddaughter, Stori. Brother, Robert (Yvonne) Burdick of Sparta, NC; sisters: Barbara Foskey of Mansfield, PA and Roxy (Ralph) LaBlanc of Covington, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandnephew, Ryan Alan Smith; and step-father, R. Robert Burdick.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning, NY, Pastor Timothy Rice officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at the USW Local 1000, 100 Nasser Civic Center Plaza, Corning, NY 14830.
