Fred was born on October 23, 1955 in Corning, NY to parents, Edison A. Myers and Betty Odell. He attended Corning-Painted Post West High School. Fred worked various odd jobs in construction for a number of year before his retirement.
Fred will be remembered by his family and friends for always being the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor and always had something to say.
Fred is survived by his siblings: Hope (Don Wilson) Glover of Elmira, NY, Tina Knapp of Elmira Heights, NY, Steven (Eileen) Myers of Elmira, NY, Angela Potter of Elmira, NY, Casey Jackson of Elmira, NY, Laurie Jackson, Elmira, NY, David Jackson of Gypsum, KS, Gina Cordero Morales of Crouse, NC; step-mother, Janice Potter of Elmira, NY; and niece, Tonya Hughes of Durham, NC.
It was Fred's wish that there be no services. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with his care. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Frederick, please visit our floral store.
