Donna R. Ayers

Donna R. Ayers, age 83, of Dry Run Road in East Campbell, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at home. She was born on November 27, 1941 in Corning, the daughter of the late Harold and Violet (Dillon) Force. She married Larry Ayers in 1963 in Canandaigua.
Donna was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was known for her generosity. She cherished the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked with special need students in the school district through her job at BOCES. Donna loved birds, flowers and the homestead she shared with her husband for 57 years.
She is survived by husband of 61 years, Larry V. Ayers, son and daughter-in-law, Larry V. and Christine Ayers Jr of Corning, daughter and son-in-law, Coral and Stephen Van Buren of Corning, grandchildren, Devon Ayers and Camden Ayers, great grandchildren, Andromeda, Calder, and Mateo, brother, Lynn, sisters, Leona, and Ellie, and nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by eight siblings.
A private celebration of Donna's life will take place in the spring at the convenience of her family.
