After leaving the military, she settled down in Old Town, ME for a few years with husband Stephen and daughters Suzette & Melissa. In 1975 they moved their family to Clinton, ME where they spent many happy years raising their children and being involved in the community. She also loved snowmobiling, 4- wheeling, hunting and spending time on the island at the family camp on Pushaw Lake. In her later years, she enjoyed camping, bird watching & traveling with her husband and family to many tropical locations and on several cruises, one of her favorites was her trip to Alaska.

Patty had a love for holidays, especially Halloween & Christmas. She always took pride in her Halloween decorations and looked forward to all the children coming to trick or treat at their home in Clinton. Christmas was her other favorite, and she not only loved all the decorating and shopping but gift-giving to all her grandchildren and any other child in need.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sisters, Paula Martin & Paulette Free, and sister Ann Marie.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years Stephen, as well as her children Suzette Harford & husband Ronald of Belmont, Melissa Theriaque & husband Jeremy of Smithfield. She was a proud & loving grandmother to Setha Carbee & husband Zack, Robert Belanger & wife Erin, Devan Belanger & wife Emilee, Nevaeh Rush & significant other Cody Abbott, Kaysea Harford, Konnor Harford & Jeremy Theriaque. She was also blessed with 7 great grandchildren: Hudson & Callum Carbee, Grant, Benjamin, Billie Harper & Callahan Belanger, and Easton Harford and many nieces and nephews.
