Patricia Wiegand

WIEGAND – Patricia Mary Wiegand (Barker), age 82, of Lawrenceville, Georgia,

passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, with loving family by her

side. A funeral service will be held in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral

Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Scott Cramer officiating.

Interment will follow at a later date at Rural Park Cemetery in Ingham Mills, New York.

She was born on June 14, 1943, in Palatine Bridge, New York, the fourth child of Harry

W. Barker and Gladys E. (Carpenter) Barker. She was a proud graduate of the Class of

1962 at Canajoharie High School. Patricia is survived by her children: Theresa Sours of

Syracuse, New York; Allen Sours, Jr. of Greenville, North Carolina; Dan and Peggy

Wiegand of Houston, Texas; and Shannon and Chuck Wafer of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie and Susan Barker of Palatine Bridge, New

York; her sister, Kathleen Winters of Chittenango, New York; eight grandchildren; five

great-grandchildren; her grand-dog, Wyland; and her beloved family cat, Misty. She was

pre-deceased by siblings Shirley Cittadini, Robert Barker, Elsie Mae DePiazza, and

William Barker. Patricia had a deep love for her family, her faith in the Lord, the beauty

of nature, and the joy she found in cooking and baking for those she loved.

Patricia worked for more than 25 years in the grocery and specialty foods profession,

first as a deli clerk and later as a cake decorator at Peters Grocery Store in Syracuse,

New York, retiring in 2008. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in

Syracuse and was most recently a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in

Lawrenceville.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM

at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
