June Marilyn Wiegand

June Marilyn Wiegand, 83 years old, passed away on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2025 peacefully at her home. June was born on March 4, 1942 in Clay City, IN to the late Philemon and Ruth (Arney) Brant. She has been a lifelong resident of Walkerton. On December 3, 1961, June and Jerry A. Wiegand were united in marriage. Jerry preceded her in death on May 12, 1999. Her grandson, Tyler Wiegand; and her sister, Jean Lowry also preceded her in death.
June is survived by her three sons, James Wiegand of Walkerton, Jason (Carla) Wiegand of North Liberty, and Jon (Toni) Wiegand of Walkerton; and six grandchildren, Alyssa (Coen) Garrison, Phillip (Maria) Wiegand, Skyler Wiegand, Nicholas Mann, Steven Mann, and Tyler Cleveland. June is also survived by her nine great grandchildren.
June was a member of the Tyner United Methodist Church. She was a bookkeeper for the family business, Wiegand Construction.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton, IN. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
