Patricia Jean Yufer, 77, of Mill Hall, Pa., passed away on Nov. 25, 2024 at her home in Mill Hall.
Pat was born in Chelsa, Mass., to Katherine and Joseph Dorney on May 26, 1947.
She went to high school at St. Augustine's Catholic and graduated in 1965. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in arts with a minor in education from Cardinal Cushing College. She worked as an elementary school teacher in both Everett, Mass., and Lock Haven, Pa., until her retirement.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and was an avid reader. She was a member of Catholic Daughters.
Pat is survived by her sons, Jason Yufer, of Mill Hall, and Nathan Yufer, of Mill Hall, and his wife, Sahar Al Baroudi; two sisters, Elaine Dorney, of Jersey Shore, and Sharon Coss, of Groton, Mass.; and brother-in-law, William Yufer, and his wife, Jean, of Carlisle, Pa.
She is predeceased by her husband, Allan Yufer; and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Jean Yufer will be celebrated at the Holy Spirit Parish, St. Agnes, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Pa., on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at 11 a.m., with Father Joseph Orr of the Holy Spirit Parish officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, Pa.
There will be no public visitation.
Memorial donations in Patricia's name may be made to Covenant Cafe, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of UPMC Hospice.
Services are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, Pa.
