Patrick Allen Brennan

Patrick "Allen" Brennan, known affectionately as Allen, passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 46 in his hometown of Rome, IL. from a work-related accident. Born on November 11, 1978, in Peoria, Allen was a beloved local who was recognized for his versatility and passion in various crafts, particularly carpentry and home remodeling. An outdoor enthusiast, Allen cherished his time four-wheeling and boating. His love for the Chicago Cubs and NASCAR racing were among his favorite pastimes. Allen was also devoted to caring for his parents, embodying the role of a caretaker with dedication and love.
Allen is survived by his father, William James Brennan; brothers, Edward "Ray" Brennan and William James Brennan II; sister-in-law, Renee Brennan; uncle, Jim Hopkins of Chillicothe IL.; and aunt, Pat Gruber of Kettering, OH. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Faye (Shaddy) Brennan.
Visitation for Allen will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, IL, followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Edwards Catholic Church, with an additional visitation hour from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Allen may be made to the Fred Meister Chillicothe Firefighters Association, a cause close to his heart. Allen's legacy of kindness, skill, and community involvement will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
