PATRICK "SLUGO" CALLAHAN
Finger, TN: Patrick Barnett Callahan, age 59 passed away December 31, 2025, at his home.
He was born November 4, 1966, in Jackson, TN the son of Peggy Jane Hurst Callahan and the late Roy Houston Callahan. He grew up in Chester County and was a 1985 graduate of Chester County High School.
After high school, he moved to Texas and worked in a family construction business for a couple of years before moving back to Chester County where he began working for Kerr Plastics in Jackson. After about thirteen years there, he began working for Wolverine Tube and continued there for about four years. Then he worked for TBTN in Jackson about five years before retiring due to health reasons.
He built a home in Pinson in 2002 and lived there until 2020 when he returned to Finger, TN.
He was a member of the Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Jackson.
He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique Ford Cars, doing home improvement projects and being outdoors.
He was a pet lover and leaves behind his beloved dog 'Rebel'.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Peggy Jane Hurst Callahan of Finger, a brother, Daniel Callahan (Kelly) of Henderson; two sisters, Tammy Jane Provience of Lexington and Tonya Dawn Callahan of Jackson, eight nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 5th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5 PM until 8 PM on Sunday.
