Patrick Joseph Curran, 75 years old, from South Boston, Wollaston, and most recently Rochester NY passed away on April 8, 2024 in Boston.
He was the beloved son of Patrick Joseph and Mary Claire (Carroll ) Curran of South Boston. The cherished husband of Denise ( Brett ) Curran and the brother of Mary Claire Cunniff of South Boston, Mark Curran, his wife Carol of Dorchester and Peter Curran, his wife Maureen of Summerfield, Fl. Brother- in-law of Gregory Brett, his wife Sue and Christopher Brett and his partner Mary Anne Luttrell of Rochester, NY. Patrick also leaves behind his aunt Patricia Carroll as well as many treasured nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
He owned and operated Idependant Taxi Operators Association medallion #730 for over 40 years. He was a former President of the ITOA and served on the Board of Directors for many years. He helped orient new drivers, worked as a field safety leader, and welcomed everyone with his kind smile and quick wit.

Services will be held at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, Ma. 02127 on Wednesday April 17th from noon to 2 pm.

So very sorry to hear, just found out. None of our friends knew until today. When it was to late. We would have definitely gone to service
I grew up with Pat & the family, on East Second st. He gave me a nickname of hurricane! I was born on hurricane Carol.
We had a lot of laughs. Very nice guy! Condolences to the family.
