Patrick Lorenzana

Patrick Lorenzana, 67 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Cooperman St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, New Jersey.
Born Tuesday, January 10, 1956 in San Vicente Ilagan Isabela, Philippines, Patrick was the son of the late Casimiro and Ely Lorenzana.
Patrick was raised in San Vicente and would graduate from Adamson University in the Philippines with a Baccalaureate degree in Architecture. Patrick would immigrate to the United States in 1979, settling first in Chicago.
Patrick would start a career with the United States Postal Service in the late 1990's. He would then meet his future wife Neri Gavina and the couple would reside in Old Bridge, NJ. Patrick would transfer to the Secaucus Postal Office.
Patrick remained close with all of his childhood friends from the Philippines. He was a member of the Jokers, a group of friends who played basketball together, and also a member of the Eastern Tagudinian Organization. In his spare time Patrick enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to some of his favorite classic rock music. His favorites were songs by Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Patrick also enjoyed playing and watching sports, such as football and basketball. When he was relaxing Patrick liked to watch some of his favorite television shows, Below Zero and Deadliest Catch.
Patrick is survived by his beloved wife Neri Lorenzana, by his loving children, Patrick Jr., Nichole Nanthavinh and her husband Ben, and Patricia Joyce Gavina and her husband Simon K. Zheng, by his siblings, Edgar and his wife Crisella, Ferdinand and his wife Ingryd, Maria Buendia, and Casimiro III and his wife Laura, and by his cherished grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Isaiah, Ilysiana, Noble, Villanelle, Astrid, and Felix Linh.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday at St. Thomas the Apostle located at 1 St Thomas Plaza Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
