Patrick Joseph McHugh

Patrick Joseph McHugh, beloved father to Rory Shane McHugh and grandfather to Shane Patrick McHugh passed away on February 25th 2025 in Foxboro, Massachusetts, leaving a void his family cannot fill.

He was born in Tuam, Ireland in 1951 and was adopted by Bernard and Mary Catherine McHugh. He spent his childhood in Warren, Rhode Island, and vacationed every summer at Maranacook Lake in Maine. Pat attended DeLaSalle High School and earned his Associates Degree at Roger Williams University.

Pat was married to Catherine Lewis and the two worked together in the garment industry for many years. They gave birth to a son, Rory McHugh. Pat worked as an insurance auditor for over 35 years.

Pat was a basketball referee for over 40 years for IABBO Board 54. His passion for the game extended into attending many local college and basketball games, cheering on the local team. He enjoyed golfing, water skiing, boating, spending time on the lake in Maine, playing cribbage, and spending time with friends and family at the Elks club.

Pat also leaves behind his sister Maureen McHugh, his nephew, Ken Lambert, and his niece, Margie Brennan, and her family. He will be remembered fondly, forever in Maine doing his ski tricks.

Pat's Celebration of Life will be at the Randolph Elk's Club from Noon to Five on Friday, March 13th (Pat's birthday). Please come join us to celebrate his life and all the many amazing memories.
