Patrick J. "Rick" Rohan

Patrick "Rick" Rohan passed away in Bronxville, NY on October 31, 2025. He was 63 years old. Rick will be remembered for his strength, intelligence, charisma, and his wonderful sense of humor. Rick was born on April 1, 1962 in East Northport, New York to his parents Patrick Joseph Rohan and Janet Black Rohan. Rick graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College with a degree in English Literature. He then attended and graduated from Harvard Law School, after which he enjoyed a long and successful law career. Rick was extremely passionate about literature and loved to read and write in his free time. Books could be found in every room of his house, and he likely read every single one of them. Rick was an avid golfer, tennis player, baseball player, and skier. He enjoyed vacationing in Maine and always dreamed of retiring to Vermont where he had loved taking woodworking classes.

Rick was a loving father to three children and made sure he was an active part of each of their lives. He was an undefeated little league head coach, an author of countless children's books for his kids, and the biggest fan of everything they achieved. He was extraordinarily bright and the first person anyone would call with a question about a book or movie. He had countless jokes and stories to tell and could recall things like nobody else.

Rick is survived by his three children: Blaise Rohan of New York, Johanna Rohan of New York, and Peyton Rohan of New York, 7 siblings, and countless nieces and nephews who he adored.

He is predeceased by his parents, Patrick Rohan and Janet Rohan, and his precious niece, Emily Griffin.
