You are truly missed. We meet as co-workers over the last several years. It was a pleasure to have worked with you. I enjoyed our collaboration. You treated all with respect. A true trait that was admirable.
When I come upon a difficult situation, I will stop and say, "What would Patrick do?". After a while, I will know what to do.
