Patty Renae Raught

Patty Renae White McGraw Raught, 60, of Jay, Florida, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Patty was born on August 27, 1964, in Brewton, Alabama to her parents, Fred (Pat)and Martha Jane (Janie) White. Patty resided in Jay until her death. Patty graduated from Jay High School in 1982 and continued her education to become a Registered Nurse. As an RN, she had many opportunities to serve others until her medical retirement. Following her retirement, she took great pride in caring for her parents and her first husband until they were called home to heaven.
Patty is survived by her husband, Fred Raught, "daughters"; Elizabeth, Karen, and Christina, A special and precious Aunt Mary Dell White, and her mother-in-law, Claudia Raught. In addition, she was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. As an only child, she was never alone because she had numerous cousins from the Jay area, as well as Boaz, Alabama, her mother's hometown.
As members of New Beginning Church, Patty and Fred attended, worshipped, and thanked God for their salvation. Patty's funeral will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Jay Funeral Chapel, with visitation from 12:30 until the funeral begins. Burial will follow at Walling Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy White, Glen White, Adam White, Justin White, Russell Raught, and Kevin Davidson.
The family would like to thank Emergency workers, Dr C. David Smith and the Jay Medical Clinic, neighbors, and Jay Funeral Chapel for the kindness shown during this difficult time.
