Paul Kenneth Akers Jr.

Paul Kenneth Akers Jr., age 61, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving daughters. Born on October 20, 1962, to parents Paul Kenneth Sr. and Betty Jean Akers in Houston, Texas, Paul lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.
Paul worked in carpentry, creating crates for ships for many years before his retirement. He was a devout Christian and a cherished member of Royalwood Church. Paul found immense joy in spending time with his family. His passions included fast cars and motorcycles, especially his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was known for his strong work ethic and camaraderie with his coworkers.
Paul loved traveling and taking vacations with his children and grandchildren. He had a great appreciation for food, particularly desserts, and enjoyed smoking his cigarettes. With a wild side and a fighting spirit, Paul was a strong individual who deeply loved his children and grandchildren. He always strived to be a great father and Pawpaw.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Kenneth Akers Sr. and Betty Jean Akers Price; the love of his life, Pamela June Lewis; baby girl, Brittany Michelle Akers; and nephew, Ryan Magras.
He is survived by his children: Natasha and her husband Bryce Dahse, Josh and his wife Elina Akers, Amber and her husband Cody Redd, and Natalie and her partner Bailey Taff. He is also survived by his siblings: Paula and her husband Ricky Magras, and Brenda and her husband Lou Magras; his aunt, Peggy Dimmick; his step father Benny Price, the mothers of his children, Terri Carter and Dawn Lee; his brother for life, Keith Cato; and his beloved grandchildren: Ryleigh, Haiden, Tatum, Maycie, and Grant. Paul is further survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Paul will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
