Paul S Amador, age 79, of Temple died peacefully February 3, surrounded by his children at his residence.
Services will be held February 14, 2025. Viewing will be from 4-6 pm, service to follow from 6-8 pm at Hewett-Arney funeral home in Temple.
Paul was born December 17, 1945 in Sequin, Texas to Isaias and Evangelina Amador. Paul was the 3rd of 8 siblings.
Paul married Rosalie Manríquez December 26, 1970 in Temple, Texas. They later went on to have a son, Jeffrey and 10 years later their daughter Leah was born.
Paul installed flooring for over 50 years all over central Texas. He would enjoying taking his daughter with him to work over summer vacation and anytime she had off from school. Paul was a simple man who would do anything to help you if it was possible. He believed in his God, Jehovah faithfully until the end. His life was his 3 granddaughters, Addison, Amelia and Alessandra. Playing candy land or coloring every Sunday when he would come over for his weekly visits. Paul was always outside working on the yard or planting flowers and vegetables in his garden. He took pride in his landscaping for his house. Never one to turn down a fishing trip with his son in law, Antonio or just swinging on the porch swing with Jeff drinking a beer or coffee. A lover of the Dallas Cowboys, but only when they were winning. For a while he would volunteer at CTLC and enjoyed his time there, where he made some good friends.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Isaias and Eva Amador, Isaias Amador Jr and Álvaro Amador.
He leaves behind a son, Jeffrey Paul Amador, a daughter, Leah Amador, a son in law, Antonio Villacorta and 3 granddaughters, Addison Raine Amador, Amelia Rose Villacorta and Alessandra Ramona Villacorta; all of temple. Brothers, John Amador of Dallas, Robert Amador of Temple, Phillip Amador of Killeen, Ruben Amador of Troy, Daniel Amador of Killeen and a sister Sara Harris of Amarillo. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with these arrangements.
