Paul A. Byers, 29, of Williamsport and formerly of Sunbury, passed away on March 4, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Danville on April 27, 1995 he was the son of Brenda (Geiswite) Hoyles and Walter T. (Byers) Poeth.
Paul attended Shikellamy and Line Mountain Schools. He liked cooking. Paul loved being around his friends and family, especially when he could make them laugh. Paul was an organ donor and gave the gift of life to other's with his passing.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Hoyles and husband, Clair of Watsontown; his father, Walter "Troop" Poeth and husband, Kasey of Ranshaw; two brothers, Kyle Byers of Ranshaw, and Travis Byers and wife, Brandy of Coal Twp., paternal grandmother, Sharon Bixler; maternal grandparents, Paul and Linda Geiswite; two nephews, Trenton and Amani; two nieces, Roxie and Amiah; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, March 14 from 1-2p.m. at Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton where funeral services will be held at 2p.m. with the Rev. Harry Harter officiating.
