Publish in a newspaper
Visitation for Paul will be on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 am at Gallagher Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:00 with Brother Steve Spears officiating. Burial will follow the service and be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Cody Parker, Connor Chambers, Ricky Thompson, Rayford Parker, Holden Buswell, and Frankie Coleman.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Cora Chambers; sisters, Claudette O'Brien and Alice Wootan; and a daughter, Traci Whatley.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Paul Douglas, Jr. and Christeen Parker (Rayford); grandchildren, Connor Chambers (Dawn), Chandler Chambers, Carmen Buswell (Ethan), and Cody Parker (Chasta).
Paul was an amazing daddy, so selfless and kind. He was always helping someone out. His family was the joy of his life. He loved being a Peapaw of 7 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, and one on the way. He loved fishing and hunting and absolutely loved watching LSU play. But above all, he loved his Lord and Savior. He will forever be missed.
