Paul R. Crevier, 76, passed away on June 10, 2024 in St Augustine, FL with family by his side. Paul was born on Flag Day, 1947 in Hartford, CT to Roger and Annette Crevier.
Paul loved to be near the ocean and moved his young family from Connecticut to Cape Cod where he kept several boats (one of which he built), fished, and even had his own lobster traps for a time. His last career
was as the sole proprietor of a successful pest extermination business. Friendly and outgoing, he had a following of devoted clients.
He was a proud member of Universal Lodge A.F & A.M in Orleans, MA.
Before retirement he and his wife escaped northern winters in Chokoloskee, FL to enjoy sunshine and fishing. In retirement he hung up his snow shovel for good and relocated south, first outside Savannah, GA and then settling in St Augustine, FL in 2016.
He was an accomplished home cook, regularly sharing recipes with family and friends, and planted favorite ingredients in the extensive gardens he and his wife maintained.
A dedicated craftsman he turned his hand to many creative endeavors over the years but woodworking was his passion. He crafted gorgeous inlaid boxes, cutting boards, Christmas ornaments, and other detailed objects as well as clean-lined household furniture. His goofy sense of humor found an outlet with wooden yard ornaments like penguins on the lawn in Florida and a flamingo peeking over a fence.
A loving and devoted husband he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha-Ann Crevier, two daughters, Yvonne Crevier (Caroline Gould) of Leverett, MA, and Renee Roeder (Todd Roeder) of Ringgold, GA, two
grandchildren, Bridget Edwards (Jay Edwards) of Lowell, MA, and Grant Roeder (Ellie Morton) of Seattle, WA, as well as his sister Aline Donovan, brother Philip Crevier, and their families.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society https://www.cancer.org/donate/memorial-giving.html.
