Paul Dailey, Jr., 82, of Jamaica Plain, MA died on Monday, June 5, 2023
Mr. Dailey was born on July 25, 1940, in Jamaica Plain, MA. The son of the late Paul and Mary (O’Neil) Dailey, Sr. brother of the late Joan Hughes, Mary Andrews and Pauline Meehan.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Dailey was employed for 20 years as a law enforcement officer with the Boston Police Department. He followed in the footsteps of his father who was a Captain also with the Boston Police Department.
He enjoyed music, collecting baseball cards & loved sports of all kinds.
Paul was a beloved father of two daughters along with their spouses; Adam & Lynda Purpura of Londonderry, NH and Nancy & the late Joseph Ormond of Derry, NH. Paul also leaves behind 6 beautiful grandchildren; Sean Ormond, David Dailey, Robert Ormond, Allana Hinckley, Jillian & Abigayle Purpura in addition to 5 great grandchildren; Norah Dailey, Charlotte, Bianca, Colin & Marcella Ormond all of New Hampshire. Mr. Dailey was predeceased by his wife, Lindsey (Moffitt) Dailey
SERVICES: There are no calling hours or services at this time.
Donations can be made to the American Lung Association in memory of Mr. Dailey.
