Paul E. Dick, 84, was called home by our Lord on September 7, 2022, after a long illness. He was born and raised in the Akron area and retired from Goodyear after working there for 23 years.
Paul was a very sociable person, enjoying visits from family and friends. He also enjoyed being with his grandchildren, taking them on little adventures when he could. He liked the outdoors and fishing. One of the most important things about Paul was that he would do anything he could to help someone in need.
He was preceded in death by parents Paul J. and Bessie (Farmer) Dick, son Charles, two sons-in-law and two grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years Beverly A. (Henderson) Dick and 6 siblings. He is also survived by children Charlene Mock, Mark E. (Jeanna Anderson) Dick, Brenda Serva and Deborah (Thomas) Austin and "special daughter", Mary Woodward.
Surviving grandchildren include John M. (Jessica) Serva, Joshua A. (Barbie) Serva, Justin A. Serva, Mark P. Dick, Robert K. Dick, Breanna Anderson, Angela (Carl Dennis) Austin, Mary Page, Michellie (John) Torres and Dawn Mock. Seventeen great grandchildren and ten great, great grandchildren also survive him, as well as numerous family members and kind friends.
