Paul Durham Obituary
Paul Goble Durham, age 72 of Hendersonville passed away peacefully February 20, 2026 surrounded by his family and friends.
Paul was born on March 30, 1953 in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late Charlie Goble Durham and the late Flossie Francis Carter Durham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Durham Martin and Peggy Durham Vantrease.
He is survived by his twin sister, Paulette Durham Loper (Jimmy) of Gallatin, Tennessee; sister, Priscilla Durham Fitzgerald of Richardson, Texas; his partner for over 25 years, Sherry Mitchell of Hendersonville, Tennessee; nephews, Charles “Chad” Loper (Jill), Troy Martin (Amy), Rodney Martin (Jamie), Robert “Butch” Martin, Stephen Vantrease; and niece, Chasity Loper Carter (Jay).
Paul was a 1971 graduate of Gallatin High School and was employed with the City of Hendersonville for over 40 years, starting with the Fire Department and retiring as Road Superintendent.
In accordance with his wishes there are no services planned at this time and Paul’s remains will be scattered at a specific location.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
