Paul Mason Faires Jr.

Paul Mason Faires, 70, of Gastonia, died Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, January 3, 2011, at Founders Chapel, McLean Funeral Directors. Pastor John Stanley and Dr. John Frye will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends after the Memorial Service Monday at McLean Funeral Directors. Paul Faires was born October 25, 1940 in Gaston Co., NC. He was the son of the late Paul Mason Faires, Sr. and Nell Stephenson Faires. He was the Owner – Operator of Kluttz Machine & Foundry Company and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Gastonia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Charles Albert Faires. Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years Jean Kluttz Faires, daughter, Catherine Faires Carnes and husband Mason of Belmont, son, Robert Mason Faires and wife Elizabeth of Gastonia, grandsons, Alexander Faires and Walter Faires of Gastonia.
