Warwick, RI – Paul E. Gordon, 76, a retired pipefitter, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Providence.

Born on September 4, 1948, in Providence, RI to John and Madeline (Emery) Gordon, Paul attended Pilgrim High School in Warwick and earned his GED from the United States Army which he served in from 1969-1971.

Paul worked for 28 years as a pipefitter for General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division, Quonset, RI. Using his mechanical skills, he enjoyed working on cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and he enjoyed watching UFC and football. He was a member of the American Legion, William Shields Post 42, Warwick. He also enjoyed going out to eat and playing with his dog Gizmo.

He is survived by two children Jennifer Kilduff (husband Robert) and Joseph Gordon (Linda Raposo), one sister Patricia Sprague, and he was Grampa Paul to his two granddaughters Mackenzie Kilduff and Isla Gordon. He was the uncle of Laurie Sprague and Susan Knott, and the companion of Beverly Cesario whose daughter is Tania Cesario. Paul was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Gizmo.

His family will gather privately for a committal service in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Exeter. Burial, with military honors, will follow. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516 (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org).
